The Polish Air Force Air Show at Radom is one of the iconic air shows in Europe and it's one of the "must go to" shows. It's held once every two years and they usually have a very good and mixed display program.
The first half of each air show day is dedicated to civilian air planes, including sail planes and para-gliders and the afternoon and early evening is for military aircrafts.
From a photographer's point of view, the best location is actually not on the air base but on the south side of the base, outside the fence. This is where you'll find most of the serious photographers.
The area is accessable by car, but be aware, as they close most of the roads leading to the area in the morning, so you need to be there early.
If you can't find a hotel in Radom to stay at, look for one south of the city. Reason being that most visitors will be going north, towards Warsaw, and traffic can be slow.
