The 2016 NATO Tiger Meet was held in Spain, at AB Zaragoza, the home of Ala 15 of the Spanish Air Force. In connection to the NTM, the Zaragoza held an open day where the base opened to the public.

Many of the tiger-painted airplains participating in the NTM was on display and there were sir displays by the Spanich Air Force with F-18, Eurofigther, Patrulla Aguilas and Patrulla Aspa. On top of that, the Belgian Air Force F-16 solo display performed a display as did the French Navy, with two Rafale M.

From a photographer's point of view, this was not a good air show, due to a lot of heat haze and a rather thin display program. If it hadn't been for the NTM, this would not have been an event worth travelling to.
